Northern Colorado’s all-time scoring engine with playoff-level poise
Whitley Cox was a high-usage, do-it-all guard for Northern Colorado whose impact went well beyond points: in the 2009-10 season she led the Big Sky in scoring at 17.2 points per game and later finished her UNC career with 1,581 points, 257 assists, and 351 made free throws. She was especially dangerous in big moments, earning back-to-back Big Sky Player of the Week honors and repeatedly carrying the Bears with 20-plus-point nights. The differentiator: she mixed shot-making, toughness, and playmaking, though a past knee injury is part of her story, so durability was always part of the evaluation.
