Citadel freshman LB Shadrach Williams brings compact, active-edge linebacker traits
In the 2026 season, Shadrach Williams is listed as a freshman linebacker for The Citadel at 5-foot-10, 195 pounds, with active status and no publicly available stat line yet, so the read is more projection than production right now. He looks like a shorter, scrappier defender who fits an underdog linebacker mold: quick enough to play with urgency, physical enough for the role, and young enough to develop into a useful special-teams-and-depth piece if he keeps adding strength and polish.
