Big Frame, Big Strike-Throwing Upside for Elon
Jack Lager is a redshirt freshman right-handed pitcher for Elon who brings a projectable 6-foot-3 frame, an easy arm action, and a reputation for pounding the zone. In the 2025 season, he redshirted after arriving as a three-time all-state selection from New Hampshire and a top-20 overall in-state recruit, and Elon’s staff praised his advanced changeup and ability to throw a ton of strikes. He’s the kind of arm you care about because the ingredient list is strong: size, command, and feel for offspeed. The fun part is the ceiling if the stuff keeps ticking up.
