veteran Villanova guard known for poise and clutch free throws
McManus’ value is in her composure and reliability under pressure: in Villanova’s win over Notre Dame, she closed the game by hitting four free throws in the final 25 seconds, and earlier in her Villanova career she posted 10 points with zero turnovers in 32 minutes against West Virginia. That kind of steady, mistake-free guard play is valuable for teams that need calm decision-making, late-game execution, and a player who won’t give possessions away.
