Southern’s Big, Disruptive Interior Anchor
Johnathan English is a 6-foot-2, 260-pound defensive tackle listed on Southern University’s 2025 roster, and that frame suggests a sturdy interior presence rather than a pure speed rusher. Publicly available team pages and roster databases do not show current season stats, so the clearest takeaway is fit: he profiles as a compact, physical DT who can eat blocks, hold gaps, and bring toughness to the middle. If your team wants a trench player with leverage, violence, and plug-and-play interior attitude, he’s the kind of guy worth a close look.
