Texas State’s 6-11 interior enforcer brings size, boards, and old-school grit
Josh Goellner is a big-bodied center at 6-11 who gives Texas State a true paint presence, with a background that includes averaging 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks as a sophomore at Abilene Christian and earning all-conference honors in the 2023 season profile available. He also missed a year because of a knee injury, so the key question is durability — but the upside is a rugged, physical big who can protect the rim, rebound, and bring veteran toughness. If your team needs a low-maintenance, high-motor interior presence, he’s worth a hard look.
