veteran BC edge presence with bulk, motor, and real game experience
Karafa stands out as a 6-foot-3, 285-pound defensive lineman with proven college production and captain-level experience, giving Boston College a steady, physical presence up front. In the 2018 season, he posted 47 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, and 4 sacks, and by 2019 he was recognized as a preseason All-ACC defender while showing disruptive flashes with an interception and 2 pass breakups against Virginia Tech. The scouting read on him emphasizes instincts, tackling, and size more than burst, so he profiles as a dependable, tough-mindset fit for a defense that values experienced, hard-nosed trench work.
