local-speed corner with a throwback Warrior edge
Kawika Ornellas has been a Hawai‘i secondary piece with real speed and athletic background, entering the program as a walk-on after clocking a reported 4.42 in the 40 and starring as a Mililani sprint standout. He’s the kind of corner who can bring urgency and toughness to a room, but the public record here is limited and mostly older roster/history material rather than current-season production, so he reads more like a developmental fit with quick-twitch upside than a proven statistical star. If you value hometown grit, track-speed traits, and a player who can grow into the role, he’s worth a look.
