seasoned Lions DL with proven production and academic polish
Greg Triay’s most concrete on-record impact came in the 2012 season, when the Southeastern Louisiana defensive lineman posted 24 tackles, 1 sack, 2 tackles for loss and a fumble recovery; he also started all 14 games and earned honorable mention All-Southland recognition. That combination of availability, effort and disruptive flashes is the headline trait here: dependable, assignment-sound trench play with enough pop to affect the backfield. He also checked the intangibles box with strong academics, which usually tracks with coachable, low-drama fit. If you want a sturdy DL who brings consistency over sizzle, that’s his lane.
