Samir Al-Amin is a ball-hawking Baylor DB with proven playmaking juice
In Baylor’s 2001 season, Samir Al-Amin was a veteran defensive back with 195 career tackles, 119 solo stops, and 3 interceptions, including a team-high 2 picks in a 2001 Baylor feature; he also flashed big-play instincts with multiple interception returns for touchdowns that season[2][14]. He was recognized as a team captain and earned all-star-game invitations, which points to leadership, toughness, and respect inside the program[10][11][13]. If you want a DB who brings experience, anticipation, and competitive edge more than flashy measurables, Al-Amin fits the mold[2][10].
