Illinois State WR depth piece with fresh-man upside
LaMonte Jones is listed on Illinois State’s 2026 football roster as a **freshman wide receiver** at **6'0", 165 pounds**, which points to a lean, developmental receiver profile rather than an established stat producer yet[3][4]. Because the available roster and stats sources do not show meaningful college production, the key value here is projection: he appears to be a young, moldable target whose fit will depend on whether he can add strength, refine route detail, and earn trust in a competitive receiver room[3][4].
