Salim London brings two-way juice and a steadying hand for UAB
In the 2025-26 season, Salim London played in all 32 games for UAB and made 12 starts, averaging 4.9 points, 1.5 assists, and 2.3 rebounds while leading the team in the little-sung but valuable category of composure and versatility. He’s a 6-foot-4 guard who can defend, rebound, and make plays without needing the ball constantly, and his high school résumé showed real all-around pop: 17.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.9 steals per game as a senior at Hoover. The big swing skill is consistency—his freshman shooting was rough, but his all-around game and key-returner status make him a meaningful piece for UAB.
