Montana State CB James Andrews: Rising FCS Star with Elite Ball Skills
James Andrews, Montana State Bobcats' shutdown cornerback, has been a turnover machine in the 2025 season, leading the Big Sky Conference with 5 interceptions and 12 passes defended through 10 games (per NCAA stats). His differentiator is elite hip fluidity and relentless ball-hawking intensity, allowing just a 32% completion rate when targeted—best among FCS CBs with 30+ targets. No major injury history, high football IQ shines in press coverage, making him a Day 2 NFL Draft fit for teams needing physical, instinctive corners who thrive in man schemes.
