veteran Fresno State DB with a nose for tackles and timely plays
In the 2023 season, Steven Comstock appeared in 13 games, started nine, and posted 28 tackles, a fumble recovery, two quarterback hurries, and two pass breakups for Fresno State[1]. He stands out as a seasoned, assignment-sound defensive back who brings versatility, steady production, and visible competitiveness; his move from quarterback to defense also hints at a high-football-IQ, team-first mentality that coaches usually love. If you need a reliable, physical veteran who can help stabilize the secondary and make opportunistic plays, he looks like a strong fit[1][3][15].
