physical Eastern Illinois forward with a classic bang-in-the-mud game
Merve Joseph is a 6-foot-4, 218-pound forward for Eastern Illinois whose profile points to a physical inside presence rather than flash. In the 1999 season, he averaged 5.7 points per game, and his breakout moments included a 22-point, 12-rebound double-double, with his own quote underscoring a willingness to battle bigger players in the paint. That kind of rebounding-and-contact mindset makes him appealing for teams needing toughness, energy, and a low-maintenance frontcourt fit.
