Power-Arm RHP Still Finding His Groove at Abilene Christian
In the 2026 season, Grayson McKelvey has flashed the physical traits scouts love in a right-hander—he’s listed as a 6-1, 205-pound freshman pitcher—and he’s shown swing-and-miss potential but also some volatility in short relief outings. His 2026 box-score lines include 2.0 innings with 1 run and 1 strikeout against St. Thomas, plus a tougher 1.1-inning, 5-run appearance against Stephen F. Austin, so the big question is consistency. If your team wants a developmental arm with size and upside, he’s intriguing; if you need a finished, traffic-free bullpen piece, not yet.
