Versatile NJIT Wing With Multi-Position Upside
Ron Alston’s best selling point is his positional flexibility: NJIT’s own bio describes him as a 6'7 guard who can play multiple spots, which gives a staff lineup juice and matchup flexibility. He profiles as a length-and-utility wing rather than a pure volume scorer, so the fit question is less about flashy numbers and more about whether a team wants a high-motor, adaptable piece who can guard, switch, and fill gaps. He’s the kind of player coaches like because he can make a roster more functional, not just fuller.
