Asa Evans brings prototype size and linebacker versatility to NC A&T
Asa Evans is a 6-foot-2, 237-pound sophomore defender for North Carolina A&T who has the frame to hold up in the run game and the mobility to fit multiple front looks. NC A&T lists him on the defensive line in its roster, while CBS Sports identifies him as a linebacker, suggesting a flexible, scheme-adaptable piece rather than a one-dimensional specialist. There are no readily available 2026 game stats yet, so the best read is projection: a physical, developmental defender with positional versatility who could fit a team looking for size, edge-setting toughness, and upside.
