Tusculum DB Joseph Armenta brings freshman size and upside to the Pioneers' secondary
Joseph Armenta is listed on Tusculum’s 2026 roster as a 6'0", 170-pound freshman defensive back from Knoxville, and that profile points to a young defender with room to grow rather than a finished product. His appeal is upside: the frame is workable for the position, and getting on the field for a Division II program like Tusculum suggests he’s in the developmental pipeline worth watching. The key question for a team is projection—if you want a DB with long-term growth potential and local recruiting familiarity, Armenta fits that mold well.
