Collin Olson brings veteran grit and steadiness to Iowa State’s offensive front
Collin Olson is a seasoned Iowa State offensive lineman whose value shows up in consistency, toughness, and reliability rather than flashy counting stats. In the 2019 season, local coverage described him as a steadying presence on a veteran line, and team notes listed him as a senior with strong academic recognition and walk-on recognition, which speaks to his work ethic and buy-in. He looks like the kind of lineman coaches trust: experienced, durable, and wired for detail — a solid fit if a team wants dependability and locker-room professionalism.
