Maddox Mihalakis gives Arizona a grind-it-out veteran bat with pop and versatility
In the 2026 season, Arizona senior infielder Maddox Mihalakis started 50 games, hit .211 with 9 doubles, 3 triples, 2 home runs, and 30 RBI, while ranking second on the team in RBI and starts. He’s a left-handed hitter with real in-game versatility and a track record of power growth; in 2025 he hit .279 with 5 homers and 37 RBI, and reports this spring noted he battled an early slump before settling in. The appeal is simple: he’s experienced, tough, and productive when locked in — a fit for teams that value grit, bat-to-ball upside, and middle-of-the-order juice.
