Cailyn Heyl brings proven winner’s pedigree and strikeout upside to South Alabama
Heyl arrives with a high-ceiling track record, including a program-record 37 wins in junior college and 218.1 innings pitched, which points to durability and a true workhorse profile. For South Alabama, the appeal is her proven ability to shoulder a staff and handle heavy volume, plus the confidence that comes from being a two-time conference Pitcher of the Year. She is the kind of arm that can steady a rotation if her command and transition to Division I pace hold up.
