Pro-Style QB with 3-Star Potential and High-Intensity Drive for Southern Miss
Ricky Lloyd, a 3-star pro-style quarterback (247Sports rating: 82) committed to Southern Miss Golden Eagles, stands out for his intense game-day focus, resilient personality, and ability to elevate team morale under pressure. While his 2023 season stats show 277 passing yards and 1 TD with 3 INTs, his true differentiator is his unwavering intensity and leadership—traits that make him a strong fit for teams needing a QB who thrives in high-stakes moments. However, he carries a noted injury risk if the offense lacks support, so teams must prioritize offensive cohesion to protect his potential. His high school rankings (top 4 nationally in 1 stat) and college versatility (also played for Minnesota State Mavericks) confirm his adaptability and growth trajectory.
