Brent Cimaglia brings proven leg strength and veteran steadiness to Georgia Tech
Cimaglia is a seasoned kicker with a long track record of power from distance, highlighted by a strong Tennessee stretch and a 2021 Georgia Tech season where he made 31 of 33 extra points and 11 of 15 field goals. His calling card is range—he has shown he can hit from 50-plus—and that gives a staff confidence on longer attempts. The fit question is less about upside than reliability: he’s an experienced, battle-tested specialist who can quietly swing field position and scoring margin when the game gets tight.
