Michael Birdsong gives Tennessee Tech a proven dual-threat spark at quarterback
Michael Birdsong is best known as a transfer QB who brought immediate playmaking to Tennessee Tech, including a 44-16 win over Tennessee State in which he accounted for three total touchdowns.[1][4] His value goes beyond box-score production: he adds veteran quarterback experience, mobility, and the ability to tilt games with his legs or arm, which makes him a fit for systems that want a more dynamic, transfer-ready signal-caller.[4][5] If you need a quarterback who can create off-script and raise the offense’s ceiling quickly, Birdsong is worth attention.
