Kevin Smith brings veteran linebacker traits, but current Notre Dame impact is unclear
Notre Dame’s Kevin Smith is listed as a linebacker, but the available sources do not provide recent, reliable production data for the 2026 season, so his current on-field form is hard to verify from public stats alone.[3] What *can* be said is that a linebacker profile like his is typically most valuable when it combines physical tackling, range, and assignment discipline; to judge fit, I’d want updated snap counts, tackle efficiency, and any injury or depth-chart notes before calling him a sure thing.
