Enock Makonzo brings pro-level pedigree and range to Coastal Carolina’s defense
Makonzo stands out as a versatile, physical linebacker with pro experience, having been selected No. 4 overall in the 2022 CFL Draft and later signing with Toronto in 2026, which signals real upside and football IQ. Coastal Carolina’s roster notes his leadership background and business-management degree, while his career path suggests a mature, disciplined player who can fit a defense that values toughness, instincts, and special-teams value. He is the kind of add that should interest teams looking for a high-floor defender rather than a pure stat-sheet producer.
