Peter Thomas Helps Power Richmond’s Best Offensive Output in 21 Years
As Richmond’s associate head coach, Peter Thomas has been a clear offensive differentiator: in the 2025-26 season, the Spiders averaged 76.7 points per game, their best mark in 21 seasons under Chris Mooney, and improved by five wins from the previous year. He adds value as a proven program builder with continuity, having been promoted in 2023 and credited with helping Richmond engineer a 15-point comeback win over Saint Louis and a 33-point A-10 Tournament rout of UMass in 2023. If you want a staff fit that brings steadiness, adaptable offense, and competitive edge, Thomas checks the box.
