Bryson Leach brings a lively right arm and real upside to Gonzaga’s bullpen
Leach is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound freshman RHP for Gonzaga in the 2026 season, and the early scouting buzz is about his fastball life, simplified delivery, and late arm speed. In 2024, Prep Baseball Report noted he sat in the upper 80s with a horizontal-breaking slider, while Baseball Northwest tracked an 86.9-88.8 mph fastball with strong spin traits—good signs for a pitcher whose game is built on deception and jump. He looks like a fit for a staff that values strike-throwing upside and a quick-rising arm with family-rooted Bulldog buy-in.
