Army West Point's Resilient Guard with Untapped Upside
Vasana Kearney, a guard for Army West Point Black Knights, showed early promise with a season-high six points and career-best 10 minutes in five appearances during the 2021-22 season, earning the Most Improved Award for her grit and growth. Sparse 2022-23 game logs reveal flashes of scoring efficiency—like 1-1 FG for six points vs. Arkansas—but limited minutes highlight her as a high-motor bench spark plug still developing consistency. Her multi-sport athleticism (basketball, softball, lacrosse) and regional accolades scream versatility and intensity; perfect fit for teams needing tough, coachable depth without ego.
