Latrell Stearns brings old-school physicality to Rhode Island’s linebacker room
Latrell Stearns is a hard-nosed linebacker for Rhode Island whose profile points to a physical, downhill style and a strong special-teams/rotation fit. His background suggests toughness and a contact-first mentality, and he was listed at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds in his college recruiting profile, with verified athletic measurables that hint at solid explosiveness for the position. He doesn’t read like a flashy stat-chaser; he reads like the kind of linebacker coaches trust for effort, leverage, and edge. If your team wants a tone-setter more than a headline grabber, Stearns looks like a useful fit.
