Compact Outfielder with Elite Contact Skills and Disciplined Plate Approach
The 5'7" Central Connecticut outfielder is a high-contact hitter with impressive plate discipline. In the 2023-24 high school season, Humphrey posted a .325 batting average and .461 on-base percentage—well above national averages (.243 BA, .375 OBP). His 2026 college stats show a balanced 1.23 K:BB ratio with equal strikeout and walk rates (12.3%), indicating a mature, selective approach at the plate. His compact frame belies his ability to consistently put the ball in play and reach base. Best fit for teams valuing contact-first outfielders who can work counts and generate consistent offensive production.
