Alycea Sharpe brings size, board work, and grit to Delaware State’s front line
In the most recent available season data, Alycea Sharpe averaged 3.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and shot 28.2% from the field for Delaware State, but her real value is the 6-foot post presence and effort on the glass that show up in the dirty work. She’s been trusted in the Hornets’ rotation since earlier seasons, including games where she stacked up rebounds and even posted a 27-point, 13-rebound outburst in 2017, which hints at a player with physicality and a nose for impact when she’s rolling.[1][2][4]
