Versatile Samford DB with a Defensive Background and Scheme Fit
Trent McKnight is listed by Samford as a defensive back for the Bulldogs, and his value will hinge on versatility, instincts, and reliability in coverage and run support. Publicly available coaching-history results tied to the same name can create confusion, so this appears to be a player-status query rather than a widely tracked national-profile athlete; as a result, there is not enough reliable public statistical or scouting data here to credibly label his current production or rankings. If your team values a lower-profile defender who may fit multiple roles and contribute through technique, effort, and coachability, he is worth a closer look.
