Corey Nickerson

Lengthy Lamar Forward Who Brings Interior Defense and Rebounding

Nickerson has been a low-usage, high-effort frontcourt piece for Lamar, with career averages of 2.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per game and a modest but efficient 47.6% from the field[1]. His biggest differentiator is length and rim protection: Lamar described him as a lanky forward who uses his length to defend well around the basket, and his high-school profile showed strong rebounding and shot-blocking production[5]. He looks like a fit for a team needing energy, defensive activity, and board work rather than scoring volume[1][5].
