Yale OL Sterling Strother: Smart, battle-tested, and a high-character trench piece
Sterling Strother profiles as a dependable Yale offensive lineman whose value goes beyond raw size: Yale listed him as a senior OL and a 2019 William V. Campbell Trophy semifinalist, which signals strong academics, leadership, and reliability.[7][9] His high school résumé also shows he was a two-way starter with 61 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, and 6 sacks as a senior, suggesting toughness and competitive grit in the trenches.[7] He looks like a fit for a team that wants an intelligent, disciplined blocker with a team-first mindset rather than just a flashy stat line.[3][4]
