Derrick Bush brings old-school fullback toughness to UAB
Derrick Bush is listed as a UAB fullback, but the available public data on his current UAB performance is extremely limited, so the main takeaway is profile fit: he projects as a physical, downhill piece whose value would come from blocking, short-yardage leverage, and dirty-work reliability rather than box-score production. UAB’s own program history also reflects a strong emphasis on hard-nosed backfield roles, which suggests Bush would be most useful if you need a rugged, assignment-sound complementary player who adds toughness and situational value.
