Grant Gilbreath brings size, athleticism, and defensive upside to Valpo’s outfield
Gilbreath, a 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-handed outfielder, arrives at Valparaiso with a strong athletic frame and a reputation for being a high-level defender, plus a competitive edge that his coaches specifically highlighted. He played varsity since his sophomore year in high school, was an academic honor roll standout, and earned praise for his physicality, teammate value, and development upside. That combination makes him the kind of player who can grow into a real impact piece if the bat catches up to the glove.
