Robert Taylor is on the Illinois State roster, but current production data is thin
Robert Taylor is listed as a defensive lineman for Illinois State, but the available public stats and scouting detail are limited, so the clearest read is on role rather than splashy numbers. The roster listing confirms his place in the Redbirds’ DL room, while broader roster pages suggest Illinois State has a deep rotation up front, which typically values effort, leverage, and consistency over headline-grabbing stats. That makes Taylor the kind of player whose fit is about trench toughness, practice intensity, and development upside more than box-score noise.
