Towering RHP with Proven JUCO Dominance Now Bolstering Nicholls Bullpen
At 6-5, 280 lbs, Owen Schexnaydre brings elite size and a battle-tested arm to the Nicholls Colonels as a right-handed pitcher, fresh off a stellar JUCO career at LSU-Eunice where he went 19-1 with a 3.43 ERA, 127 strikeouts in 112.2 IP, and a perfect 15-0 mark en route to the 2024 NJCAA National Championship (3.24 ERA, 88 K's in 72.1 IP). His pinpoint control (just 20 walks in championship year) and power stuff make him a late-inning weapon, though he suffered a brutal 2026 gut-check—serving up a game-winning 3-run HR to NW State's Johnson. Relentless competitor with MLB frame; ideal for teams needing a durable, high-upside reliever who thrives in big moments.
