UAB's 2011 Pick-Six Hero and Interception Leader
T.J. Ballou shone as UAB Blazers' starting cornerback in the 2011 season, leading the team with three interceptions (vs. Florida Atlantic, UTEP, Southern Miss) across 11 starts and delivering a game-changing 52-yard pick-six in a thrilling 24-23 loss to Troy. His ball-hawking instincts and turnover-forcing tenacity stood out in back-and-forth battles, marking him as a reliable shutdown CB with junior college polish from East Mississippi CC. A decade post-college, he's a nostalgic standout for teams seeking gritty, proven defensive backs.
