Cody Albright brings steady, strike-throwing depth to UNLV’s staff
In the 2025 season, Cody Albright emerged as a reliable multi-inning right-hander for UNLV, working 28.2 innings across 14 appearances with 24 strikeouts, a 4.08 ERA, and opponents hitting .278 against him. His value is less “wipeout ace” and more “give me clean innings and I’ll keep the game on track,” which is exactly the kind of glue-arm teams need. He’s been used both in starts and bullpen bridges, and that versatility makes him a fit for staffs that prize toughness, flexibility, and dependable command over pure flash.
