George Handal brings size, strike-throwing upside, and fresh-man swingman value for Siena
In the 2026 season, George Handal flashed immediate usefulness for Siena as a 6-foot-4, 210-pound right-hander, earning his first collegiate win after 3.1 innings of one-run relief and posting a 2.66 ERA across 33.2 innings on the year. He looks like a classic power-projection arm with starter-sized build, and Siena’s incoming-signing note points to regional recognition from Perfect Game before college. The downside: his 2026 line also shows he can get hit, so the appeal is ceiling plus frame, not polish. If you want a big-bodied arm with development runway, he’s worth a serious look.
