Reliable Ivy League edge rusher with proven All-Ivy production
Whalen was a **6-4, 220-pound defensive end** who earned **All-Ivy League honorable mention** in his senior season at Dartmouth, and he stood out for steady week-to-week consistency, recording at least one tackle in every game that year.[1][3] The key reason to care about him is his dependable, assignment-sound profile: he wasn’t just a flash player, but a durable edge defender who produced across the season and fit a disciplined Ivy League front.[1] That combination of size, consistency, and conference recognition suggests a player whose value came from reliability and effort as much as raw stat volume.[1][3]
