veteran defensive back with cornerback experience
Available sources identify Shamon Jamerson as a senior left cornerback at Oregon State, which suggests a seasoned defensive-back profile with program-level trust and experience in coverage responsibilities. His key value is likely reliability and field savvy rather than splashy headline stats, but the available search results do not provide current-season production, rankings, injuries, or recent scouting analysis for Western Illinois, so a sharper performance read is not possible from these sources alone. If your staff wants a developmental defensive back with positional experience and maturity, he is at least worth monitoring; if you need verified 2026 impact data, the public record here is too thin.
