Austin Rose adds depth at RB with proven Nebraska roots and a bursty, all-purpose profile
Austin Rose is a Nebraska-area back with a compact résumé that suggests value as a depth piece: ESPN lists him as a Nebraska running back with 1 career carry for 7 yards, while his high school production showed he could handle volume and create yardage efficiently. His appeal is local familiarity, versatility, and the kind of low-drama, team-first profile coaches like in a room. The caveat is that the public stat trail is thin, so he profiles more as an upside/familiarity add than a proven impact runner.
