Big-Body Slot Specialist with Elite YAC Flashes, Now in NFL Free Agency
Jadon Haselwood is a 6-3, 200lb possession receiver who excels as a big-body slot specialist with nasty yards-after-catch (YAC) flashes, though he lacks consistent separation against NFL man coverage [7][9]. After battling injuries and QB inconsistency at Oklahoma behind CeeDee Lamb, he transferred to Arkansas for the 2022 season, nearly replicating his entire Oklahoma career stats in just 12 games with 59 receptions and 702 yards [8]. Ranked 228th overall by Tony Pauline (projected 6th round) and labeled WR34 in his class, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles in May 2023 but was released by August 2023 [2][4]. His differentiator is elite size-strength for contested catches and slot creation, but his fit depends on a team needing a red-zone/slot weapon rather than a deep-threat; his injury history and limited special teams experience remain concerns [7][8].
