Florida State’s Edge Rusher Still Showing Football IQ and Playmaking Upside
Alex Boston is a Florida State defensive end whose profile centers on versatility and football instincts rather than a deep public stat sheet, with early scouting notes pointing to a player who can flash athletic traits and handle multiple on-field roles; the key question for teams is whether that raw ability translates into consistent edge pressure and run-game impact. Publicly available current production data is limited, so the best read is that Boston is more of a developmental fit than a finished product, with his value tied to technique growth, effort, and whether his competitiveness shows up snap after snap.
