Rohan Davy brings production, disruption, and big-play juice to URI’s linebacker room
In the 2025 season, Rohan Davy emerged as a tone-setting inside linebacker for Rhode Island, starting all 14 games and finishing second on the team with 101 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks; he also scored on a 45-yard scoop-and-score and earned Third-Team All-American honors plus preseason Buck Buchanan Award watch-list status for 2026. His best differentiator is impact plays, not just accumulation: he combines quick processing, backfield burst, and finishing power in a compact 5-foot-10 frame, which makes him a fit for a defense that wants a relentless, high-motor tackler who can create negative plays and momentum swings.
