McPartland brings power, strikeout upside, and late-game leverage to Nevada’s circle
Jessica McPartland profiles as a high-upside right-handed pitcher whose value goes beyond raw numbers: in her 2025 season at Nevada, she logged 22 appearances, 9 starts, 4.59 ERA, 43 strikeouts, 2 saves, and multiple complete-game efforts, while earlier at Sierra College she posted a dominant 2.39 ERA with 173 strikeouts in 164.1 innings. Reports also note she missed a year because of injury, so the key question is whether she can stay healthy and recapture her earlier swing-and-miss form; if she does, she fits as a tough, versatile arm who can start, relieve, and finish games.[1][3][5][6]
